No.3 Exhibition Hall for Evolution of Chinese Characters: The No. 3 Exhibition Hall for Evolution of Chinese Characters, which is located the South Hall on the second floor, consists of three sections,including “Unification of Characters”, “Evolution from Official Script to Regular Script” and “Words and Expression”, showing the evolution from inscriptions on ancient bronze objects to bamboo and wooden slip archives and then to stone steles in Qin and Han Dynasties and the history of ancient lexicons, Chinese character education as well as standardization and reform of Chinese characters.
